Massive synthetic insulation for winter camping

The Naturehike MJ600 -5 sleeping bag is designed for static camping and vanlife when the thermometer drops below freezing. By setting aside weight constraints, this model prioritizes exceptional insulation thickness. Its hollow cotton filling retains its thermal properties even in very humid environments, where natural down would lose its effectiveness without rigorous maintenance.

Tactile comfort and thermal insulation

The interior of the bag is lined with 190T pongee, offering an immediate warm and soft touch, unlike the cold nylons of technical bags. The mummy cut, coupled with a thick insulating hood and a neck drawstring, prevents the air heated by your body from escaping. It is a true cocoon for harsh nights.

190T water-repellent polyester silk fabric

The outer fabric made of 190T silk polyester, which is denser than that of the MJ300, supports the wider temperature range of this winter sleeping bag (down to -12°C limit). The water-repellent treatment protects the significant volume of filling from surface moisture.

1300g filling: the mass of material that justifies the weight

The synthetic hollow fiber filling reaches 1,300 g, which is double that of the MJ300, directly accounting for the 2.3 kg total weight of this extreme cold sleeping bag. This amount of material is the determining factor for the -5°C comfort range.

If the weight of your bag is starting to drag you down and you need to go below the certified -10°C, the Naturehike Snow Petrel PRO700 offers a -11.1°C comfort rating at 1,070 g — 750FP goose down, 10D fabric.
